drop cycle ?

Hi,

ok don't laugh but since being away from domains for a while i have forgotten this:

Say whois for a name says PENDING DELETE and "Updated Date" the 20th.

When will the domain drop then ?

On the 25th or the 26th ?

Would appreciate an exact answer, not like "add 6 days to the update date" but rather an exact date as i don't remember if the "updated date" counts as first day of the 6 days or not.

Second question:

Is the drop time still 2 PM EST ?

I believe that different extensions drop at different times of the day, which extensions would you like to know about?

Wasn't aware of that - in this case it's .com but would be interested in the drop times for the other extensions as well if indeed they're different from .com

Anyone care to let me know about the 25th/26th thing as well ?

1) .com and .net domains start dropping at 2pm Eastern Time each day and the process usually ends within an hour or so.

2) If the domain is .com or .net and shows as pendingDelete updated July 20th, the domain would drop on July 26th.
