Registered 2002. Estibot gives a $5900 valuation. Is that about right or what do you think? Thanks.

It's definitely not worth anywhere near $x,xxx.

$xx reseller
$xxx end user.

Just about every computer comes with a DVD burner these days so the market for DVD burners has depleted.

How many offers have you had? Did you counter? What happened?

I countered, of course, and both times got a little more offered but fizzled out. When I listed it on Sedo, they gave a recommended valuation of $1999. I was thinking of getting one of those TV on PC programs where you can watch loads of international television broadcasts on the site. Runs on auto, of course. Thanks for the input.

Just don't believe all these bot-valuations. They really suck !!! I have plenty of names with xx,xxx$ and can't get even low xxx. Specially SEDO pricer is a scrap.
As far as it concerns dvd-burner.com I think low xxx$

You are right about the bot valuations. I use several and take them with a grain of salt. They can be all over the place but I have an idea of their valuation methods and quirks. I prefer domain sales history - much better as that is the actual price paid - like real estate. Good comps. But I seem to be pretty fair at marketing and getting nice prices. Such as:

MyBunk.com sold at $1000 (Estibot $620)
RainbowFestival.com sold at $1000 (Estibot only $40)
Worldcup-Soccer.com sold at $1500 (Estibot $1500)
...and many more like this.

Thanks for the input on dvd-burner.com. All comments are appreciated.

may be actual price paid, but does not account for "who the owner was, their selling skills, need to sell, resources, etc".

where those amounts, depending on who owned them, could be quite different.

imo....
