How would you appraise my newest catch?

www.ecommerc.com

I really need to know as much as possible about why this domain sucks
or why it doesn't, as I'm relatively new here, 18 years old, and living
on my own with no outside support.

Please educate me. If you reply then thank you very much!

its terrible, because its a pretty bad typo...

Unless it gets traffic, that is....if it doesn't get traffic its worthless

I agree. All depends on how much type in traffic it gets

wow. 1k down the toilet.

U really paid $1k for that name?

Yeah. :\ Expected value to be like 20k from the sales I see
posted on various sites. Live and learn though, I guess...

Unless you are willing to go deeper and understand WHY names sell for 20k then I think you are in the wrong biz.

Why is Ecommerc.com worth $1,000?

Here are factors that give value

TRAFFIC = probably none
GENERIC TERM = no
3 chars or less = no
POPULAR TERM = no

therefore it's not very valuable.

Sorry if that's harsh, not meant to be. Just constructive criticism

If you have any questions PM me and I'll do what I can to help.

I am sorry to hear you spent a grand on this name. If someone gave me this name for free, I would let it drop before I had to pay the renewal on it.

Best of luck, and I do hope that your valuation of names gets better and wiser with experience.

Wow. Terrible day. That's 1/10th of savings. BAD Idea.
