Well... personally I think the "e" may work nicely regardless if it's one or two words or if it's a bundle. For instance, "eCommerceConsulting.com" is listed for sale at buydomains.com.
This criteria of ["e" + 2 words (and no bundle) = bad] is quite relative at best:

eMicrosystems.com â for $2,500.00
eBizPortal.com â for $1,688.00
eBusinessDeveloper.com â for $1,188.00
eBusinessPortal.com â for $1,188.00
eCommerce-Solutions.com â for $2,788.00

I love it when people get offended at low appraisals of their names.
eBiz, eBusiness, and eCommerce are terms identified and understood in the business world. That would be like comparing apples with oranges.
