Can I ask why ICANN doesn't do anything about Registrar's either catching their own name directly or through a third-party? I am sick of reading because of $$$. Isn't there anything we can do to even the game and prevent other services from automatically receiving a name and auctioning it off? I am new to the game, but this doesn't make sense they allow this to happen.

Creating/enforcing rules regarding it would take some thought, time, and ofcourse money. Apparently ICANN can't be bothered with that. Instead they prefer someone to blow smoke up their a$$ write a contract that benefits them financially and be done with it.

I hope so. They are causing a big stir with the bending over and taking one from Verisign right now. I'm throwing as much gas into the flames as I can. I suggest you do the same.
