Can't find much about it. Has anyone came across anything worth reading?

Whats the Land Rush 2 ?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. :) I saw it mentioned on SEDO but nothing in depth. I looked on Google, can't really get much info.

Well presumably they are going to release IDN.EU so the other 90% of the continent have a full compliment of names.

No, IDNs are coming at a later time. Ladrush 2 is about allocating names that were applied for during sunrise period 1&2, but that have been denied by pwc due to insufficent/incorrect proof of rights.

Yep mezzo is correct

Nothing with IDN's yet. They will be saved for a future date

Since .eu's were so popular ATM I'm sure IDN.eu will get sold out fast (..cough)

Hi,

There are important news that may follow this post. Eurid will finally not publish a domain list for Landrush 2, so it is only possible to check out the available domains one by one at whois.eu.

On June 7, will be released the domains for which the Sunrise applications have been rejected or expired 45 days prior to May 24. The applications that were already in pending status at this date will be released weekly, every Tuesday at 11:00 (central european time), starting June 13.

More information at eurid.eu

thanks for the dates will be ready..........;-)

Now i know why they are calling them Landrushes, they have been marketing these so called "Rushes" for 2 years now and the only ones that rushed were the ones the got the worst domains, i dont beleive these guys at all. .eu regs will die down in time and the rest of the "RUSH: will just expire next year. The best domains had been regged by real cybersquatters that will just sit on them or park them somewhere and we wont be seeing any worthwhile sites in this zone for some time. offcourse there "Rushes", you have to rush to pick up the scraps that EURid have left you. So now they will not publish the list just giving the guys who didnt make out with the right trademarks time to get ready for the drops and get these domains again anyway. So the "Scraps" are already eaten. I dont know what these domains are, you dont know, but the sharks do! Well thats Europe for you.We let them register the .US the .BIZ the .com, .net e.t.c... zones they want with Drop lists avaliable everywhere. Sure they want you to go through the list manualy and see what more shit is avaliable to register, and this we will call Land rush 16 or 17. Beware: "These guys are flying high" and we are just Landrushing. I in principle wont register even one domain in that zone. Hell with them and and there rushes, the only thing i dont understand is "Where the hell is ICANN" and why are they being silent on this matter? They gave them the zone in the first place and are just laying back and watching them F&*%k the little guy again and again and "Rushing" up a third time to do it again. Id rather have "VeriSign" then EURid any day.

There is irony in this threads name ".EU Landrush 2 - Coming June 2006"
Now you guess who will be "coming" and on who's  ??? . Sorry guys coldnt help it. These guys just blow my mind. :sorry: :bump:

Yeah, so you can go step by step, one by one through whois to find out if any domains on your list might be released.
Never mind, already found a few...
