We've no experience with excel but this's a quite easy task for some more skilled than us :)

We've an inventory of 2,800 prices, we need to add $30 to each price.
May you explain, step by step, how applying this change, please ?

Thanks in advance for helping.

I'm a novice as well, but this may help until someone else comes along

First, copy your spreadsheet into a new file so you can make the changes there.
Now, if the pricing is in column b and column c is empty follow these instructions:

1. Select c1
2. Find the function bar (looks like fx)
3. Enter this =b1+30 (press enter to execute the formula)
4. Select c1 again, which will highlight the box
5. Grab the lower righ hand corner and pull it down 2800 spaces.

That should add 30 to each number in column b.
Hope it helps...

Do you know how increasing prices of a given % too ?
Now I got the mechanism, I'd only need the formula to increase all prices of a 2% for instance.
Once I'll have it, I'll be able to edit the parameters to use for our purposes.

Thanks again
