Why the secrecy. You are entitled, but there is no need really.

Quite right Ed. Mp3.tv is excellent because the owner had the resources to put up a great site and promote it. If Hireliberty has Elequa's resources then he could do something similar, but he is asking for an appraisal which would indicate he simply wants to try to sell the name rather than develop. That is where he runs into a huge problem. As already noted, Verisign marked these domains at an artificially high price, leaving nothing for the buyer who plans to profit from a resale.

I won't develop a site like mp3.tv, coz there might have TM issues to deal with foodtv.com. And, I am pretty sure that i have made the 1st step to put it on sale. Apart from asking for a decent appraisals from all the PROs on DNforum, I got no intention to offend anyone.

Of course, there are many more factors that i have taken into consideration. I don't want to be a loser in this domain games, and that's why detailed investigation was carried out before i bought FOOD.TV. Remember, you will never be a loser if you treat something seriously and work towards it.

Why am i able to purchase FOOD.TV ? Is it because this is something that a loser can achieve?? LOL...

all it takes is any TV station coming up with a show thats food-related.Plenty potential buyers i'd say.
Doesn't have anything to do if television is connected to the internet or not or what else you guys fantasize about.
XYZ.tv is always a great name for anything visual related, that's why as already said quite a number of TV shows have decided to have a .tv name as their main presence.
I agree on most avail .tv names have ridiculous reg fees on them though.

There is a huge demand and that's why .tv corporation decided to establish a new section called, PREMIUM SHOWCASE. Why is everyone still buying their premium names? Coz they are WORTHY. ;)

Personally, I dont wish no one who spent money on no name bad, so, good luck - smart looking at the tm issues btw.

Good luck to you and your sale!

Btw - i was actually surprised that my only .tv name (the one in my sig) was not a premium name although its a high searches term (59000+ on OV).
Well i don't complain :D

Yes, it is a bad news to the people of Tuvalu, but a good news to .TV domains:eek:

Thanks. Just checked. :)

Well after taking the time to read all the thread - I am also curious how much the reg fee is?

I have no interest in purchasing - but I would just like to know. I'm always intrigued by a good mystery! :)
