I've had FindThis.com for a loooong time. From 98-01 I had several offers in the $15k-20k range for it. Of course, I had such big plans for it (that I've just never had the time to do anything about!) so I said no. ;)

I get an inquiry a month on the domain still, but have been pretty much ignoring them.... the past few years as I became more 'open-minded' to offers, I would respond to inquiries saying minimum $XX,XXX. Usually that is the last I hear or they will come back with $10k.

Today I got a call from someone that I had sent such a response to. They want me to pin down a more specific asking price for them. They are interested in both FindThis.com and FindThis.us. I said I needed to speak with my business partner first.

I'm usually pretty good with having a handle on where the market is, but in this case I think I have too much personal attachment to the domain to be unbiased.

Any suggestions on what would be a fair price in today's market? I'm not that desperate for $ to sell at any price, but I'm thinking that I've held this domain long enough I should consider being a little more open-minded if it's a reasonable offer

Thanks in advance for any comments!

You're usually the one I go to for price advice, so taking into account your past advice for my names, and from the sound of it 30-40K would be great. OR... You could always keep it and develop the next google. :)

Best of luck with it either way...
