script is crap- no Vodafone as the phone provider, therefor can't send anything,

selected other UK provider, did not get sms

Thanks for the kind words... But seriously, is that tone necessary?

VodaFone is on our list for services for the next subversion upgrade, which everyone gets for free.

As for the "other" UK provider, which one was it and did you enter a country code before the number i.e. 44?

That was an issue we were dealing with earlier.

I have entered two times for O2mobile

number with +4478.. and just 078..

in both cases says- sent, how long do i wait till sms arrives?

o2/Orange is the one we were having difficulties with.

After talking with their support team they said certain users may have to enable it from their mobile phone. They said that users might have to:

SMS saying "ON" to phone number "212"

Before any outside messages are allowed into their system.

And try +44[number]

I would recommend contacting O2/Orange and ask them if you are able to receive SMS through an email gateway with your plan.

We tested O2/Orange earlier in the week, we ran into some problems but troubleshooted it as I stated above and it worked.

in all cases says- sent, non sms received, dono how about US, but worthless for UK user

My test SMS made it through only as a header, e.g.

That issue has been resolved. Problem was with compatibility with certain phones.

I received the new SMS tests. It seems though that other char sets are not supported, e.g. Greek? They arrive as entities:

Try again, switched charset to UTF-8 instead of ISO, wasn't thinking of other characters, but that should do the trick

texted to virgin again, sms never arrived, just admit - its not working, so we don't keep trying :lie:

It is working, we don't have the ability to fully test Virgin Mobile.

We've been attacking the Verizon problem for the last hour or so and have figured it out... We hope...

Verizon should be working now. We have tested in the past hour:

Cingular, T-Mobile, Verizon(heavily) and Sprint and they are all working properly.

T-Mobile (US) currently won't receive any. I've a Samsung T809.

Finally arrived. UTF-8 doesn't seem to work.
