Is Fun Fair enough common word in entertainment biz, for this domain to be of value? I see all other gtlds are taken.. Thanks!

I haven't heard that term used much. I've heard FanFair a lot more (because of the huge country music event each year in Nashville). FunFair gets 411 in OT which is just so-so. Nice memorable name if you wanted to develop something though.

Well "Fun Fair" is supposed to be the place of amusement, where rollercoasters and stuff take place. Thanks for your comment though.

Sounds like you are talking about a County Fair or a State Fair, or if it is something open every day it would be an amusement park. I never thought of any of those things when looking at Fun Fair. Never heard the term applied to that. But the two words sound good together and as I noted could be nice for developing something.

Hey Ice - I wonder if it is a term that is used more outside the US, because I honestly have never heard it used here to describe an amusement park kind of attraction. Not trying to create an argument (and DA hasn't regged the name anyhow so he's not out anything). Is this a term you other Americans are familiar with?

I know it's a violation of forum rules to post a name for appraisal that you have not registered - but I will not squeal on him if you don't.

Besides now I'm interested if other Americans are familiar with this term as applied. I don't think it is used here much if at all in that context - but perhaps is in other countries. In fact on the first page of Google, most of the sites are UK or other countries when you search for "Fun Fair"

So you see Peter - that is exactly the problem - not living in the U.S. you didn't know it was not a term we use here, so not a good one for the .US extension. By the way DA never asserted that it was - he was just asking before regging (not a bad idea). Even if he had said it was it is still wise to research something rather than simply take someone's word for it.

Hey, dont get me wrong. I really appreciate your comment. Thats exactly why I havent regged it - I was wondering is it a common word in states before I do. So If you are saying youve never heard of it, well that sure means something. Either youre **** or it realy isnt used a lot. And since I consider you as one of the more inteligent members here, I guess youve answered my question the way I needed it to be answered. Thanks to all!

PS: My dictionary states the same as the iceholes link, but we must understand that even if something is in dictionary, it doesnt mean its actually used in life of a regular person..

Oh come on.. So what, I should first reg the name and then ask is it a dud? Dont you think there are enough duds on this forum posted already? Thats exactly why I posted it, to ask is it valuable as such and should I reg it.. What difference would it make if I regged it first and then ask? I can still reg it if I get positive feedback, but since it seems not to represent what I was thinking of and I have no intentions on developping, I think Ill pass on it. If you guys have problem with that, just report me to Greg.. I still think Im right to post it
