I just found this which I thought was pretty strange, its a few years old now,

"Rex Stores Corp. has registered for a Web domain called rexamazon.com. The site, still under construction, is a creative way of getting around rex.com, which has already been taken by a group of artists that post locations and dates of art shows around the country.
Zafar Risvi, Web administrator at Rex, could not be reached for comment. The site is not to be confused with amazon.com, a Web site powerhouse that sells compact discs, books and videos. "
