I bought popular domains v1.28 for $149 USD after Lee recommended them. The program doesn't even work and other people have lost money buying the program also. Yet he continues to recommend it. I would run like hell from anything this shyster tries to sell you. The moment he is exposed, all emails and help from him cease.

Before he has your money, he acts like he is your best friend in the world, giving you expiring domain advice, and holding himself out as the (self proclaimed) expert. It takes a special type of character to knowlingly peddle expiring domain software that doesn't function.

Do business with him and popular domains at your own (very high) risk. I would say no domain speculation about it, guaranteed to lose money.

Diogenes - please keep up your negative comments!

That way there will hopefully be fewer people joining NamePursuit and less competition for me ;)

domainguru, two things:

First, i saw your ad a while ago and it was saying the same thing "hurry, spots fill up fast, etc." same as now. I emailed you a question regarding your 'services' and never got anything back.

Second, you are not talking to newbies here, everyone is aware of the 'tools' and 'strategies'. You think we wait for names to go on hold? Man, i have snaps that go 10 months ahead.

This is a professional forum. Simply saying "we are it and our tools are the best" does not cut it. We need to know exactly how we can benefit here. Cuddly, etc. is nice, but you are talking to people with much much more profitable domain names, some of them the best in the business.

i ve tried namepursuit out of curiosity (2 month ago), you have access to some kind of list of name with a search engine, there is 2 kind of listing

a) the normal name, they were all snaped already, new names were added randomly it seems, getting one without snap seems like pure luck

b) "traffic name" name with link pop of course the one with more than 50 link if i remember right were also all taken, more were added randomly, same as for a) getting one unsnapped seems like pure luck

result after 1 month i find only one that was worth to be snapped but he got renewed so the only benefit i got for my $49 was the promotion on snapback ($49 instead of $69 unlimited change) or else i would have lost $49

my opinion on the services : i wasted my time and some $, no real explanation on how use the list was given or even a manual (you get some testimonial by email and 3 tips), nor when new domains were added. everything was already snaped

Of course i didnt renewed my subscription

I tried it out when it started. Most the services that were promised on the signup page didn't exist. All good names that were in the search results were already snapped. Plus, the search results didn't show much at all. Of course, it could be better now. I dunno.

I'm sorry you guys have not had the same experiences with Lee that I have had. There is not one single person in this domain name business who has freely offered as much solid, usable advice to me as has Lee.

I managed to pick up 5 legally-related domain names from the NamePursuit club in a 2-week period, without even spending a single SnapBack on any of them. I got them with SnapShots, instead.

I don't know how to resolve the differences here, and that is not my job, in any case, but it is unfair for this thread to continue without someone speaking up and telling of his or her GOOD, or rather, EXCELLENT, relationships with Lee.

I am sorry that some of you do not view this terrific guy in the same way that I do. By the way, this is a free, unsolicited, and totally voluntary endorsement.

Why not take the time and effort you are spending on this thread and sell some more of your excellent names?

Best regards,
Sheila

Hello lawpsych, I'm interested to learn how you pick up names with SnapShots?

Sheila, I agree with you.

I have made money on domains with Lee's help.

And I have also made money with NamePursuit. I will probably get a US$1000 income from Oingo for the month of February, and this is purely from names I have acquired through NamePursuit - 3 with snaps and the others for just a reg fee.

The competition does seem to be fiercer than when the club started, but I am confident that the club will keep moving with the times and take the challenges of change in its stride.

With apologies to other members of NamePursuit who would rather people were put off from joining.

At least the club is limited to 100, so the damage is limited!

Well i that's the case, they can't have been very sought-after names. Care to list them?

What surprises me is SnapName's willingness to work with the dick that screwed their success rate with his stupidity.

Ah, dear Drewbert,

Sorry, but I took the time to read your self-described "profile" before responding.

I notice that you own 1700 domain names, yet you list no homepage where anyone can see the ones you own.

More importantly, since your listed "occupation" in your very own profile reads as follows:

"Bitchslapping domain owners that think their sucky names are worth money"

why should I waste the time? As a woman, the last thing I want is to be is "bitchslapped" by anyone, particularly by you.

If you think that description is one that is likely to engender trust and confidence, I suggest that you seek some advice from others.

Good luck in your quest to improve your interpersonal skills.

Best regards,
Sheila

Dear Fizz,

I will PM you a response to your earlier question in a little while. I have to finish a project I'm working on at the moment, but I will, indeed, reply to your question.

Good luck to you! Hey, I'm not at all sure that the gold rush is over!

Warmest regards,
Sheila

Maybe, just maybe, I'm not trying to sell them?

Did you think of that possibility? No, I didn't think so. Engage brain before putting mouth into gear.

>As a woman, the last thing I want is to be is "bitchslapped" by anyone, particularly by you.

Your choice. To ensure I can confirm with your request, be sure not to mention any sucky names.

> If you think that description is one that is likely to engender trust and confidence, I suggest that you seek some advice from others.

As I, in turn, suggest YOU seek advice from others when the subject of humour comes up.

>Good luck in your quest to improve your interpersonal skills.

Sorry, no time to do that right now. Too many idiots to sort out.

You seem to be really keen to support the DomainGuru. Is he getting some?

Bloody cat lovers. Hurrrumph.

The original question of the names picked up with SnapShots remains valid.....they were probably not of interest to most people if they were hand registered.

I have picked up many names for a reg fee using NamePursuit which have each got me between US$30 and US$200 in domain parking income. Not a lot of money. But it helps pays the bills.

UltSearch missed these ones which I'm sure he would have made 3 or 4 times the income from.

Drewbert. Please have more respect. (= don't be crude). Perhaps you could discretely edit your post.

Ultsearch missed them? Why single him out? Proves nothing. They may all have been able to be hand-regged. What were they?

If she's going to lecture me like a f'ing school teacher, then she's going to have to put up with being offended by my "interpersonal skills".

This is the Internet. If we all had to comply to HER standards, it would get so boring people would go back to watching television.

And she's hassling me for not listing all my domains in one place.

A quick look at her site (if you can stomach the horrendous red and brown for long enough) shows that many of the domains she says are "sold" are still owned by her in the WHOIS.

trialcoach.com
lawteach.com
bouldercriminallaw.com
lawpsych.com
bigcatrodeo.com
deitzandassociates.com (does it count when you sell a name to yourself?)

Remove all the "pretend" sales, and what do you have left?

Someone that needs to imporve on a few skills themselves?
