Godaddy deal

ok i want to buy a domain and web hosting fior the first time. I have used free hosting before so no the basics. Godaddy cost is $15.70 with 3 months hosting and a domain for a year. i thought this was a really good deal but is there any other places you would reccomend? This is with a 10% voucher code.

GoDaddy is good for domains .For hosting try something else ... hostgator,lunarpages -- there are loads out there. Never used Godaddy hosting but never heard a good thing about it either. For domain - fine ( a .com domain costs about $7 at GoDaddy ) . Hosting try out the coupon codes - in some cases / promotions yearly hosting can go down to $30 range.

By the way , are you just thinking of 3 months...what about the cost per month when renewal time comes , There are better deals out there.

If you're looking for inexpensive, Hostmonster is pretty good - unlimited sites etc..

The issue with having hosting with your registrar is that if something happens with the account (hack attempt), the company (research RegFly / Register Fly), or you are just plain unhappy it is twice as much work to get things fixes.
