Google PR Ratings.

I noticed that when my domains were parked with Afternic.com, they were getting Google Page Rankings. I switched the DNS to Sedo parking, and no more page rankings. What is exactly driving those page rankings anyway.

Those PR are not your page PR. That is afternic's PR.
People are not looking PR at parked URL.
If you want to check PR in your site just create an index.html in your site & use google toolbar. That's your real PR.

Exactly. When you park a domain somewhere the PR received is the PR where it is parked on.

Interesting. I also noticed that when they were parked with Afternic, many had no PR rating, yet some had ratings of 2, 3, 4 and 5. Could not the domain name also be a factor in the rating.

The PR is the page rank, not the site rank, so it makes sense that some are 0, and some are 5. It is the PR of your parked page on afternic, not your domain, as stated above.
