I'm really psyched about the new Google addition! I mean with tons of pages and tons of google ads out there it WAS impossible to know what was and wasn't working. You try and play around with the ads to see how it monetizes best but you never knew if you were replacing some which were converting well.
Anyway it will be nice to know which pages/sites are doing well so that you can make the appropriate changes on others ties and pages.

Great addition!

Numbers for channel reports are not displayed in near-real-time as they are for aggregate reports. To allow for the data to fully synchronize across all channels, your channel information will be delayed for two days before being shown. These days will show No data available in your channel reports.""

Yuck.. but better than nothing

It's great, I've already got the new code loaded and waiting.

I was a bit disappointed, to tell the truth. It would have been nicer to get domain-by-domain reports automatically, without updating the AdSense HTML code. Certainly Google knows what page and domain their Javascript is loading from....

But, at least we can now get the finer detail in stats, with a little work.

Yeah, with 20 channels.
Better than nothing.

Yeah me too, I was hoping Google would come up with automatic domain stats and that would go into detail for every page on a site, but we're limited to 20 channels and we have to update the code ourselves. Its not bad, but with all the tech Google has, they can do better.

Slightly better than nothing... 20 lousy channels that you have to define yourself -- is it for domain? front page versus inside? certain topics within a site? ad size? color? -- heck, I've got 7 sites running AdSense, with aliased domains and subdomains I already have more than 20 options to track there even without wondering about specific pages/topics/colors/sizes. I'll use those channels up in no time flat, and I'm a fairly small operation.

At the very least, domain level tracking and ad size tracking should have been automatic, because Google already gets that when the ad is served. Then maybe channels could have been used for specific things we wanted to filter out below that.

Oh well.

Google just dropped my site from number one on the first page, down to the eighth page. My business is really feeling it now. I hate when they change their rankings.
Sorry, I don't mean to step on your thread, but I have been bummed out about this.

Just looked at my first report by channel. Very helpful, even if it is 48 hours delayed.
