Somebody offered me $1,500 for Desert.Property. I think it's worth a lot more than that, what should I counter with? What do y'all think it's worth? Thanks for your replies!

Ok i generally also feel this is a good enough offer to accept. Usually better to take your good profit and move on.
But the real estate domains niche is in costant demand.

I think it's worth a lot more than that..
Can you please say more about this? Just curious if you have any further insights that make you feel confident you could make you sell this name for more in the future.

Since the person is probably a developer and wants it pretty bad, tell him $2,500.00.

you need very big balls to do that pandemic. buyer might come back and counter 1750. and he might not. and if he loses this buyer op is stuck with a name in a weird new gtld forever leaving 1500 on the table.

I agree with @kemjika11
Increase your amount only after you are very sure about this ( have other potential buyers ) otherwise take the money.

Any bets the buyer backed out? If you counter offer, you need to do it fast and close the deal within 24 - 48 hrs regardless. Anything beyond 48 hrs on a "questionable name" and the deal always falls through. At least that's been my experience. No doubt the name didn't sell.

So, did you sell it or not? It just seems like that was an offer that you can't pass up. Extensions like those don't get big offers most of the time. $1,500 seems like a great deal for you, considering that you might not get another offer like that any time soon.

Let us know what you did.
