Received an unsolicited offer for greenspace.ca of $2000 yesterday.

Anyone have an opinion as to whether this is a fair offer, or if Greenspace.ca could get better offers if posted at DNF?

Thanks in advance for your prof opinions!

PM sent. I also would remove the domain from this thread as the people who made the offer can easily find your query.

My opinion...

Getting $XXXX for a 2 word dot ca is good money and obviously depending on the combo could garner more BUT in this case it is " fair " not incredible not bad either. I have seen as you I am sure drops where lesser 2 word combos got as much. Green stuff is hot... as with everything like that though it may run its course and interest could drop, maybe not. IMO push for more of course but you are already in " fair " territory. jmo

I would take the 2k if they are unwilling to go higher. Fair is the right word, in my opinion.

This is a domain I've looked up before, two great words. I commented in another thread this week how 'space' is a great second word in domains, and this is a prime example.

IMO, it's a fair first offer, you likely wouldn't get such a high price in a forum, but since it's a first offer it's always worth trying to get a little more. Check out other greenspace domains, not sure what's at the .com or .net. It's a great domain for 'green' technology and green activities, which is a hot area these days.

Very fair offer imo. I love having a green space for my backyard!

FWIW : Take the money and run.

I wouldn't take $2000 for it. It's worth much more to an end user.

Pm me and i'll tell you exactly why.

Thanks for all the PM's and opinions above. It turns out the offer is coming from an end-user, and based on the PM's I've received so far, this is a good offer if coming from a Domainer, but not-so-hot if from an end-user. "GreenANTHING.ca" seem to be a good property to be in these days, given the move toward a more sustainable eco/enviro

Also curious; does anyone know how a domain could be registered yesterday and then be suspended today? Am I reading these correctly?

http://whois.cira.ca/public?domain=greenspacetech.ca
http://whois.cira.ca/public?domain=greenspacetechnologies.ca

Both suspended and then this one which is not suspended:

http://whois.cira.ca/public?domain=greenspaceliving.ca

Do not push your luck - you know this is a registered trade mark. Jump it up to $3K and then call it a day.

i get telemarketer calls from a company called greenspace.

is it the company you are selling to. And if this is in fact a trademark, sell it. Might be worth more in the future but once the value goes up and people are interested, the trademark owners will try to take the name from you.

pm on the way
