Genki you got some good ones there. That is encouraging. Looks like NameTrack was especially good while they lasted.

Snap has gotten me some pretty decent .net's over the last 6 months:

haggle.net
prosecutors.net
guides.net
birthdaycards.net
downloads.net
accept.net

Although I mainly pursuing high traffic domains in which the actual literal quality of the name itself is not as important to me.

Very nice grabs.

Neither Snap nor Namewinner has EVER got anything for me. I gave up on them a LONG time ago.

That looks encouraging Momentum! Nice list. Still doesn't look like the average drop buyer is getting many good .coms though.

Over time, I think the .COMs are ending up in the hands of end-users, so less and less are dropping. The next logical progression (IMHO) is to .NET - which is one of the reasons why I beleive .NET will be the next big TLD.

I got Engineers.net from DropKing.

Namewinner was good for me exactly one year ago (with their old management?). After that, they did not get a single domain I was highest bidder for. In one case, I was the only bidder and regged the domain manually at other registrar... NW did not bother to reg it at all.
One the other hand, Snapnames works fine ... If drop occures, they catch almost all domains I snapped. Yesterday they regged royalstkitts.com for me. It was casino gambling site with 80+ links to it!!
The only problem with SnapNames is that most domains I may want are already snapped :()

Interesting comments about NameWinner tonyk. Of course they have just completely revamped their web site and have a really slick interface that is a tremendous improvement. You would think this investment in the front end would indicate more resources devoted to the back end (actual drop catching). Is anyone finding this to be the case?

Ooohhhhhh........

Elequa's BANG.NET is making me drool. I wouldn't resell it - I would keep it and develop.

Actually Elequa - you don't really want that old nasty .NET in your nice .COM portfolio. I will do you and favor- and take it off your hands for the snap price. Yes Yes I know it's generous of me - but I just can't stand to see a nice .COM person bringing themself down with a .NET name. :D

Towed.com
FragCity.com
Achieved.com

--Snapnames?-- Is that the place where you pay money for one years service? And if the domain you key in drops they will pick it up, when they get around to it? I may have never swung on "{this}" vine before, but this ain't my first time on vines. Fell in love with their marketing advertisement.

My hand was shaking as I held my credit card, the name was available to be "SNAPPED" I'm gonna be rewarded for my genius after all. Here is the KingDon theory on level "A" names that can be produced by entitys like Snapnames. Write a program (school) that can grab domains the moment they drop. Than sell a public service that's full of promises that sounds cutting edge (snapnames). Then sell the idea to people who can read and think and want (Domain Names). Install a notification system, then when the buzzer goes off, you can say " wow, what a great name". Have the system kick in and BAM (sorry that name is being monitored). Then your customers will go to sleep. forget about the hunt, and wake up hungry agian for another day at the chance .

I must learn how to do this, and I to will make a killing. THIS IS ALL I GET FROM snapnames.com. And he who own SnapNames, is amongst us, His knowledge is new, but his method is correct.

Elequa, how did you get LBO.com?
Momentum, acceptt.net is great. Actually I was the highest bidder for it in namewinner?
Stuff, do you know the meaning of kirklareli.com. Good catch for a latvian.

For me, I got some 3letter.nets with namewinner and thats all.
