Hello everyone, my name is Amanda... and I'm a Domainaholic.

I'm new to DNForum but not a domain newbie. I bought my very first domain back in 1998. When someone offered me almost $5000 for it, I nearly fell on the floor. I have been buying and selling domains ever since. More buying than selling, but I'm still playing with the house's money so I have nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, my domaining activities took a backseat to a brick & mortar business that I founded in 1994.

I've just recently found myself with some time on my hands, so I'm putting my full-time effort into domaining and site development. This is something that I've wanted to do for years. I really look forward to making new friends and building new business relationships together.

Happy Domaining!

P.S. And yes, I checked to see if Domainaholic.com was available. ;)

Welcome to DNF!

Are you faring well during the Conch Republic civil war? I see you're in the Northernmost Territory. Have you been called down to Mile Marker 71 yet to help?

I've already registered my boat, the R/V CONCH EXPLORER as a Northernmost Military Asset. Should the need arise, we'll be ready to serve. :ok:

I should move to Florida.

You should be prepared - Key West is quite formidable! Don't forget the US military surrendered to them back in 1995!

I should move to Florida.

Keep in mind that the Keys are not a part of Florida, just as Florida is not actually part of the south, except northern Florida.. The Florida Keys are actually another country, although some politicians attempt to control them through various rules and regulations, mostly ignored by Conchs (residents of the Keys) At the southern tip, Florida City & Homestead are actually extensions of Mexico. As you move further north, Cuba & Haiti are well represented, then slowly as you continue your journey northward you may encounter pockets of New York, Israel and other parts of the globe. Eventually, after passing through various retirement villages as you approach the panhandle, you will again begin to encounter parts of the South.

BTW, welcome Amanda :-)

Hey, Amanda how long to drive from one end of Keys to the other?

I'm going there soon and want to make that drive.

I'm going there soon and want to make that drive.

The Overseas Hwy is 126 miles, but the best part is the 42 bridges connecting the islands in between.

I highly recommend making the trip by motorcycle if you're a rider. I usually ride down to Key West once a month with friends.

If you want to rent a motorcycle, I have friends in Key Largo that rent bikes.

Welcome Amanda :)
