Hi

if marketing as a "chip", then not more than low to mid $$$ for it.
because the chip bandwagon has rolled out the station long ago.

if marketing retail, on the high end maybe > low 4 figures.
there are a few uses for the letters in yahoo
ie: hjgstaffing..com, hjgstore.com, The HJG (Historic Jetliners Group)

imo...

What about the value of being a 3 letter net itself regardless of chip?
Hi

depends on the actual letters in the domain and where each letter is, within the name.
ie: hjg , hgj, gjh,, ghj, jgh, or exs, esx, or sex

as for general value for the category, it can range from low to mid $$$, up to $$,$$$
i own a handful of them, sold one this year hdc net @ $3750 and wta.net in 2022 @ $3250, both on sedo.
held both of them for more than a decade, but the roi was worth it.

years ago, circa 2007 > 2008, you could grab LLL net in reverse auction starting at $240.
i would buy them in the morning and resell same day in the afternoon.

not as hot as they once were as "the second choice", but i do think they are on an upward trend/
,
imo....
