Dear friends,

While I am uploading the site by using Frontpage 2000, I get the error "Server Timed Out".

I never had such problem in past 2 years. All the servers are having Frontpage Extensions enabled.

Recently I am having this problem, hence I formatted 'C' drive, reinstalled Windows and Frontpage 2000.

Some of the servers don't give this error Message when I choose the option 'Upload while overwriting existing file.' But give error message only when I choose the option "Publish changed pages only"

Please help me in this regard

Thanking you in advance

Have you tried to edit from the server pages instead of uploading changes? Try that, uploading any files you need for editing the pages, see what happens, if you get an error then, also note the time of day/night and contact your hosting provider who may have some input on your situation. It takes longer to overwrite changed pages only than to upload the whole site each time... It has to read through to find the right pages before uploading the changed ones which could be causing a timeout if you have a slow connection. Although I haven't used it in ages, if I recall right, Frontpage 2000 was kind of bad for that. I'm surprised Vivvy hasn't answered this one. She's a whiz with Frontpage.
