Articles Board on DNF is good for all beginners to read through! The best of the best of this forum have taken time to write and share their experience with anyone who is interested to succeed in selling domains.

I'll share the most important defense you can have in not having your domains hacked.... don't use a free email service to administrate your domains! (hotmail, yahoo, gmail are not secure and scammers prey on domainers who use free emails!)

I use my websites webmail, for any purchases, I use hotmail for my other stuff, facebook etc. Also Btinternet I use, which is a paid service.. so I just give them 1 ring and they can sort it for me.

It's easy for me to get back if it is hacked, which I doubt it would be , first someone has to guess which company you use to reg, then the username/password of the site you use to login to your cpanel, and then guess the email you would use.. lol

I'm sure if I was to get hacked, 1 message to the site I pay for the hosting/domain would recover my account.

So I hope I'm safe

Thanks for the information, it's good to know not to use free email.
