I registered a domain name .....

I am starting a website on this but I got an email:

------------
Hi,

we saw you registered a domain ..... . We suggest not to use our name. We already have "written TM" for this name. We not only have one name. We have many other domains that we have written TM. We are working as group of companies. Hope you understand or else we can go for further official process.

Thank you.

--------

What to do in this case?

How to check TM as well...

I don't understand the term "written TM"...

And do they have a developed website or something ?
If they don't have a registered TM they can certainly claim TM rights through usage. Q: where is the proof ?
Also, in my view serp enabler is not a generic expression.
(IANAL of course)

One thing to consider: you could very well ignore this mail but you risk pissing off a blackhat SEO guy who can sink your sites in the serps :)

I replied the mail to show proof of TM if registered officially officially, and waiting for the response.

The guy is Indian, so is there any law in India for domain name or is it treated globally in term of domain names?

I'm just afraid of TM, I'm not afraid of blackhat things....

Hi

This is not the section to post your issue.

Additionally, by posting the actual domain name in this thread, you could hurt your position.

However, if you choose to use members opinions to guide you, then a better choice would have been to post here:

Domain Name Legal Issues
(14 Viewing)
For your protection do NOT post specific domains that you are having trouble with, post the situations and ask the domain experts for their opinions.

imo...

I was not aware of the correct section...

I deleted the domain name in my thread too.

Can you please move this thread to appropriate section?
