Do you own any premium or LLL .in?

In your opinion, when's it worth it to register .in domain names? Is the $13.99 (DomainSite) or so reg fee worth it?

LLL.us domains took a similar path (as far as I could see). At first, many were open for registration, but all of a sudden are selling like hot cakes.

Thanks for the opinions.

I do think this is the right time to register LLL.in domains as quite a few good ones are still available to register and as mentioned above, they should become more valuable in future.

I own ceb.in, ebe.in, esb.in and sao.in. Also think the value of those 3 letters will increase with the years.

I think they are a great long term bet.

I have 50 LLL.in

I think in 5yrs time India will have their own booming aftersales market between domainers as they will be bursting at the seems with an IT industry that will rival the western world. I cannot see any reasonable LLL.in being sold for less than $500 by then.

Time will tell :)
I'd still rather gamble my money on this than on the next couple of horses.

Many if not all premium letter LLL.in are gone as are
a significant portion of the NNN.in.
This should help the market heat up a little.

.

Think you will find this will happen sooner than 5 years. I currently have over 200 indian domains that i get regular $xxx and $x,xxx offers on these include lll.in. I reckon in maybe another year or two we will start to see this market boom. Already to date there are good sales going through sedo on .co.in and .in averaging mid $x,xxx

My indian domain marketplace i have for domain portfolio holders of .co.in and .in has also sold a number of domains to the indian market. The traffic is increasing rapidly every month. So Indian domains are a very good investment and do not let them go for peanuts.

Steve,
I am glad to hear that since I have over 250 premium lll.in.
Where do you get the $x,xxx offers from? Sedo?
Is there a forum or market that is focusing/specializing on indian domains?

So far, I've registered a full set of Indiana area code domains (state abbreviation - IN).

Hi George,

I get reports from Sedo regular on Indian sales due to being the CEO for Listed.co.in and the association i have with them, also feedback from clientell that listed there Indian names with us. See signature for link.

I think it is possible to make a $ or 2 from .co.in /.in names.

Just wait for a little while then the $ or 2 could have a 0 or 00 on the end:tape2:
Soon there will not be any LLL.in or NNN.in left in the wild.
I have already posted my thoughts about these investments but only time will tell.

Thank you, Steve. A nice website for .in domains. Is there a way to batch submit domains?

178.in is receiving steady traffic of 4 - 8 visits daily.

Maybe numeric domains are a good idea with .in ext ( or maybe other domainers are looking around for nnn.in:)
Less the 500 left of 1000.

Anyone else have 'numbers' to report?
Any LLL or NNN .ins receiving a little traffic?

I have a list of available nnn.in that are still available, if anyone is interested I will release the info if I can at least purchase one for myself.

Regards ~

I had a list up of available NNN.in domains, but it seems to have disappeared. I'm willing to post such a list, but don't know where to post it, as it seems the DNF List forum disappeared.
