Hello DNForum members,
Today, we're excited to finally introduce something we've spent a long time building.
Domainry.com
Before we talk about the marketplace itself, we'd like to start with the name.
Some words immediately tell you what they are.
A place for books is a library.
A place for art is a gallery.
A place where domain investors or “domainers” come together to buy and sell domains...should be a Domainry.
To us, a Domainry is more than a marketplace. It's a place where every stage of wholesale domain trading lives under one roof.
That simple idea became the foundation for everything we've built.
To build the best wholesale trading environment for domain investors.
We don't believe investors need another marketplace. We believe they deserve a better wholesale trading environment, one designed around how wholesale domain trading actually works and where it can be improved.
Every decision we've made so far, and every improvement we make in the future, will be guided by one question:
"Would this genuinely improve the wholesale trading experience?"
Over time, one thing became increasingly clear:
The wholesale market already exists, it doesn't lack buyers or sellers, and deals happen every single day.
The challenge isn't a lack of activity. It's that the activity is fragmented.
Trading happens across different marketplaces, social media, privately, and sometimes even on platforms that were never designed for domain trading.
Every platform solves part of the problem, but none bring the entire wholesale experience together. Buyers miss opportunities, sellers struggle with visibility, negotiations happen everywhere, and discovery takes more effort than it should.
We believed there was a better way.
A single environment where opportunities are easier to discover, inventory gains greater visibility, investors stay informed about relevant opportunities, and buyers and sellers can connect and negotiate more efficiently, all supported by a trusted transaction layer when deals are ready to close.
That's why we built Domainry. We've experienced many of these challenges ourselves over the years. Domainry wasn't built from the outside looking in, but through active participation in the market. Many of the ideas behind the platform came from problems we encountered while buying and selling domain names.
Every feature in Domainry exists because it's something we wanted while buying and selling domains ourselves, not because it's simply expected of a marketplace.
Rather than asking investors to adapt to Domainry, we set out to build it around how investors already work, while removing as much friction from the wholesale experience as possible.
A better buying experience creates more activity.
More activity creates more transactions.
More transactions create happier sellers.
Happier sellers bring better inventory.
Better inventory attracts more buyers.
Everything else follows.
Every improvement we make is designed to strengthen that cycle.
Discovery, Negotiations, and Inventory all matter, but if buyers and sellers don't trust the final step, the entire marketplace suffers.
That's why a trusted transaction layer isn't optional. It's the bridge between a deal being agreed and a deal being completed.
Together, these three pillars create the kind of wholesale marketplace we always wanted to use, and ultimately the one we set out to build.
One question kept coming up while building Domainry:
What information does a domain investor often want before making a decision?
For many investors, evaluating a domain has become a process of checking multiple tools and websites before deciding whether to pursue an opportunity.
We wanted more of that process to happen in one place.
That's why Domainry brings together information that investors commonly use when evaluating domains, allowing them to do more of that work without constantly leaving the marketplace.
The goal isn't to tell investors what to buy, but to help them make decisions faster and with less friction.
The best inventory in the world has little value if the right buyers never see it.
At the same time, buyers shouldn't have to sift through thousands of domains that aren't relevant to them.
We wanted discovery to be fast, flexible, and investor-focused.
That's why Domainry includes flexible discovery tools that allow investors to quickly narrow the marketplace based on the criteria that matter most to them.
Less time searching. More time discovering opportunities.
Instead of actively searching for opportunities, simply set up a Domain Alert and let the opportunities come to you.
Define your criteria once, and whenever a newly approved listing matches, you'll receive an email notification.
Timing matters in wholesale investing, and great opportunities don't stay available forever.
Rather than constantly checking the marketplace for new inventory, you can let Domainry keep watch in the background and notify you when something relevant appears.
Our goal isn't to maximize the number of listings on the platform but to create an environment where investors can spend less time sorting through noise and more time discovering relevant opportunities.
Every submitted listing is reviewed against our marketplace standards before becoming visible.
We believe a curated marketplace benefits everyone. Buyers spend less time filtering through noise and more time discovering opportunities, while sellers gain greater visibility among qualified investors.
For that reason, Domainry is a private marketplace and every application is reviewed before approval.
If you're an established domain investor with a positive reputation and trading history, the review process is typically straightforward.
Likewise, investors with a verifiable presence elsewhere in the industry, whether through their own websites, activity on platforms such as X or LinkedIn, notable accomplishments, or other credible signals of participation, will generally find the process simple.
For applicants who are newer to domain investing, we may request additional information so we can better understand their background and experience.
Our objective isn't exclusivity for its own sake. It's to create an environment where domain investors can buy, sell, and negotiate with greater confidence.
A marketplace is only as strong as its transaction layer.
For Domainry, choosing the right transaction layer was one of the most important decisions we had to make.
We wanted something secure, fast, reliable, modern, and purpose-built for domain transactions. Just as importantly, we wanted a transaction experience that gives buyers and sellers flexibility through a broad range of payment and payout options.
Spaceship was the natural choice.
When we were building Domainry, we spoke with the amazing team at Spaceship about bringing their transaction layer to the marketplace.
Today, we’re excited to launch Domainry with Spaceship SafePay powering every transaction from day one. This allows us to focus on building the best possible marketplace experience while relying on a trusted industry partner to handle domain transfers and the secure movement of funds.
As many of you already know, Spaceship has quickly become one of the most respected companies in the domain industry, managing millions of domains and consistently building products that push the industry forward.
There are no listing fees, no upfront costs, and no subscription required to sell.
Domainry only earns a commission when a transaction successfully closes. The commission is 15% of the final sale price, payable by the seller, and sellers can see their estimated net proceeds before and while the listing is live.
If a deal doesn't happen, nobody pays anything.
During this phase, our focus will be on onboarding qualified domain investors, building quality inventory, and ensuring the marketplace launches with meaningful opportunities for both buyers and sellers from day one.
We don't expect the soft launch to last long. We've already received a number of join requests from domain investors, and we expect to review them and begin opening access more broadly very soon.
As Domainry grows, we'll continue improving the platform and introducing new features based on community feedback and the evolving needs of domain investors.
If you're an active domain investor and what we're building resonates with you, we'd love to have you join us during the soft launch.
Your information stays private
To help maintain a trusted marketplace, we may ask for additional information during onboarding. Any personal information associated with your account remains private to Domainry and is never visible to other users.
The buyers, sellers, inventory, and opportunities already exist. Our goal is simply to create a better environment that brings those pieces together, one where domain investors can discover opportunities, gain visibility, negotiate deals, and complete transactions with greater efficiency and confidence.
That's what we're building with Domainry.
This announcement covers some of the features we're excited about, but it's only a snapshot of the platform. There are many other details, tools, and quality-of-life improvements throughout Domainry that are difficult to capture in a single post and are best experienced firsthand.
We're incredibly excited to finally share what we’ve built with the DNForum community. Many of the ideas behind the platform were shaped by years spent in this industry, and communities like DNForum have been part of that journey from the beginning.
We're here for the long term, and we're just getting started. We don't see Domainry as a finished product, but as an ongoing collaboration with the investors who use it.
As Domainry grows, we'll continue listening, learning, and improving the platform based on feedback from the people who use it. Some of the best ideas come directly from the community, and we want Domainry to evolve alongside the investors it serves.
If you have thoughts, suggestions, questions, or constructive criticism, we'd genuinely love to hear them.
If you're an active domain investor and what we're building resonates with you, we'd love to have you join us during the soft launch.
Applications are now open at Domainry.com.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and we hope you'll join us as Domainry continues to grow.

Our Vision
Our vision is simple.
Why We Built Domainry
We've spent years in the domain industry: buying, selling, negotiating, brokering, building portfolios, using most major registrars and marketplaces, and watching how domain investors actually buy and sell domain names.Over time, one thing became increasingly clear:
What are the fundamental ingredients of a solid wholesale environment?
After years of buying and selling domains ourselves, we've come to believe that building a great wholesale environment starts with three things.1. A Purpose-Built Product
Modern design and a smooth user experience are important, but they're only the starting point.Every feature in Domainry exists because it's something we wanted while buying and selling domains ourselves, not because it's simply expected of a marketplace.
Rather than asking investors to adapt to Domainry, we set out to build it around how investors already work, while removing as much friction from the wholesale experience as possible.
2. A Product That Works for Everyone
We didn't build Domainry for buyers or sellers, we built it for both.A better buying experience creates more activity.
More activity creates more transactions.
More transactions create happier sellers.
Happier sellers bring better inventory.
Better inventory attracts more buyers.
Everything else follows.
Every improvement we make is designed to strengthen that cycle.
3. A Trusted Transaction Layer
A marketplace is only as strong as the confidence people have in completing transactions.Discovery, Negotiations, and Inventory all matter, but if buyers and sellers don't trust the final step, the entire marketplace suffers.
That's why a trusted transaction layer isn't optional. It's the bridge between a deal being agreed and a deal being completed.
Together, these three pillars create the kind of wholesale marketplace we always wanted to use, and ultimately the one we set out to build.
Built Around How Investors Evaluate Domains
One question kept coming up while building Domainry:
What information does a domain investor often want before making a decision?
For many investors, evaluating a domain has become a process of checking multiple tools and websites before deciding whether to pursue an opportunity.
We wanted more of that process to happen in one place.
That's why Domainry brings together information that investors commonly use when evaluating domains, allowing them to do more of that work without constantly leaving the marketplace.
The goal isn't to tell investors what to buy, but to help them make decisions faster and with less friction.
Smart Discovery
Discovery is one of the most important parts of any wholesale marketplace.
Domain Alerts
One feature we're particularly excited about is Domain Alerts.Instead of actively searching for opportunities, simply set up a Domain Alert and let the opportunities come to you.
A Curated Marketplace
Domainry is intentionally curated. Not every listing is approved, and that's by design.
A Trusted Community
The quality of a marketplace depends not only on its inventory, but also on the people participating in it.For that reason, Domainry is a private marketplace and every application is reviewed before approval.

A Success-Based Model
We wanted Domainry's incentives to be aligned with the success of the people using it.There are no listing fees, no upfront costs, and no subscription required to sell.
Domainry only earns a commission when a transaction successfully closes. The commission is 15% of the final sale price, payable by the seller, and sellers can see their estimated net proceeds before and while the listing is live.
If a deal doesn't happen, nobody pays anything.
Launch Plan
Rather than opening the doors to everyone on day one, we'll begin with a soft launch.During this phase, our focus will be on onboarding qualified domain investors, building quality inventory, and ensuring the marketplace launches with meaningful opportunities for both buyers and sellers from day one.
We don't expect the soft launch to last long. We've already received a number of join requests from domain investors, and we expect to review them and begin opening access more broadly very soon.

Looking Ahead
We don't believe the wholesale domain market needs reinventing, we believe it deserves better infrastructure. The buyers, sellers, inventory, and opportunities already exist. Our goal is simply to create a better environment that brings those pieces together, one where domain investors can discover opportunities, gain visibility, negotiate deals, and complete transactions with greater efficiency and confidence.
