I would like to know which of these names would have the most value, and what values you would assess them at. Thank you for any help.

Ipod porno might be one of the worst names ive seen. But you followed it up by a decent name but not the ltd .net

I agree about being a "worse names I've seen", but the Adult Industry has already begun making trailers and movies for the iPod. Anything "adult" themed with the word iPod or Podcast are impossible to be found. I'm just looking at a future senario, and where it could possibly go.

As for iPodStore.net, I agree with the lesser value of .net, but how about a value? That was why I made the post. Obviously, iPodStore.com would have a huge value, but where would iPodStore.net come in at?

I would appreciate any honest opinions, good or bad values, because I am a new member, and clueless.

I didnt even think of the value that muc. that is how the .net hurt it. iPodStore.com would be Mid XXXX i would think I say your LTD drops it to somewhere in th XXX range im not sure low or high.

Wow, I guess .net names really take a beating! I had know idea it was that bad. Thanks for the posts, though. It all helps put things in perspective.

Anymore ideas would be great, so I can get an overall average, containing more viewpoints and directions.

I just may have to stay away from .net AND "ipod" type names.

Anymore thoughts and prices, please? This is really important for me to get a better idea on the value.

I agree with the above evaluations.
iPodPorno.com may have a market in the coming years. ipod supports video. this name has value.

But you should put iPodPorno.com in Adult board I think.

To be honest I think IpodPorno.com is a good name. You can now play videos on your ipod and so it is inevitable that some people are going to be putting porn on theirs. Everyone knows how big the adult industry is on the internet. Its not the most ideal name for the subject, IpodPorn.com would have been better. But I say Good Find!

iPodStore.net is'nt bad. I think the only reason its getting a battering is because it wont be able to compete with the .com version which will be exactly the same kind of site if developed.

The Video iPod was released by Apple in October 2005. The iPod supports video now.

I own 3 video iPods & porn is viewed on them.

Sorry, I only saw in Japan market there are some kinds of MP4, Sony and some other brands, I didn't see any video iPod in my living place which is a science town near Tokyo.
I heard that iPod would support video several months ago, I wished that come to true. So I said iPodPorno would have value. Did my words offend you?
I am not a hobbyist of iPod,so I didn't pay attention to it is release.Does that hurt you?

hey mango, ill tell you what. the ipodstore.net is a desent name. but i really think that you may have gotten a great name with the ipodporno.com.
the many countries to sell that domain name to would be the USA or Germany. i do not think you will have to wait long to sell it. ipods can play movies and clips. and all you need to do is download the movies down to it.
since Germany and the USA is the countries with the most porn production, so if i were you i would start making a little website for your domain or find sites regarding the meaning of it and send them an e-mail.

There are so many porn sites out there, so if one of these porn sites gets the chance to be a few steps in front of the compation, then they WILL buy it. for how much depends.

If I may put my 2p worth in as well.

I set up PodcastPornDirectory.com 3 months ago, basically a simple review/links site covering all the podcasting porn sites I could find up and running. Traffic is really building up - it's a definite small niche at the moment but I have noticed a lot of very 'big' porn sites branching in to the iPod video market. Interestingly, I'm noticing an increasing number of people viewing my domain name from a webmaster's point of view.

In a nutshell, if you believe the many industry articles out there that believe by 2009 the Podcast Porn industry will be worth $200m, it's not huge, but not to be sniffed at.

Incidentally, whilst you guys have your valuing hat on, I'd be curious on your thoughts on:
