Is it possible to get a cost per click of over 10cents on adult traffic at sedo?

Dont worry im not asking for your keywords (unless you want to pm them to me :wink: ) I have a domain with adult celeb trffic and am getting 3 cent per click at sedo. I was just wondering if i should keep expreimenting with my keywords or just try it somewhere else

It depends on the location of the traffic. 0.3c is the minimum.

I have had adult names reach over €0.50

yeah its pretty frustrating trying to find good keywords, the best one ive found on sedo is 50 cents. I even have a bank misspell and am getting only 10 cents on financial related keywords. Its mostly US traffic

Most advertisers on Google are now avoiding sponsoring competitor keywords, for fear of embarassing law suits.

Most money you will make would be on generic name domains.

You are more likely to earn money on Adult domains using the Adult Portal keywords, as this allows the surfer to target what they are looking for.

one handed surfers looking for the porn just click on what sounds best anyway ;-)

I had a domain parked and was getting 0.10 per click.. just hosted the site - wrote some quick ppc pages (same keywords) and getting .80 per click - looks like sedo is making most of the money here...

The problem is not how much Sedo is paying. It's how you entice the user to click on a page with traffic. I optimized my keywords, added a content-related banner (Sedo allows this) and my revenue jumped from a few cents to several dollars a day for a domain with natural type in traffic.

actually i just switched to namedrive and it went from about 12 cent a day to $1.00 a day
I also was able to track where the traffic was from, it was all U.S and Europe

There is a MAJOR diference in payout per click by going direct with adsense. This is NOT just an optimization issue- you guys are leaving a lot on the table and they are shoveling it in.

Oh, well I had assumed that since this thread was related to increasing click value on an "adult" celeb site and you mentioned that you had switched from a PPC company to your own hosted page with PPC (AdSense) and your click value improved that you were insinuating that the thread starter should create a simple webpage and look at using AdSense on their adult celeb domain. I haven't look at G's TOS closely but I don't think they take adult sites. If they don't then AdSense will be of no use to them in improving click value. I haven't tried it but most on this forum say that utilizing adult affiliate programs results in the best return on adult domains.
