Is it worth to buy domains that end with .BZ not BIZ.
for example:

creditcards.BZ
account.BZ
animals.BZ and so on...

Im talking about premium domain names.

I'm no expert. But it is worth it if your goal is to own premium .bz names.

If your goal is to make money, it seems that that would be much more difficult.

Dude. You need to slow down and start at the very beginning.

In one thread, it apparently got burned on an IDN that you thought was box dot com.

Slow down, read some of the noobie stuff.

from a reselling viewpoint:

if the extension sucks, then any names using it, suck too

imo...

Last year the top selling biz domain was gold.biz for about $20,000 followed by RIA.biz for $8,000.

Considering that .bz domains would most likely be worth a lot less (and I'm talking maybe 5% tops) than .biz unless you're talking top quality domains (sex.bz, etc.) you're going to have a hard time with them.

Add in the $25 a year registration fee and it'll be even harder.

Personally, I would save your money and invest in 1-2 better names (.com / .net / .org etc.).

For a moment, consider .bz a typo of .biz. Now you can see how bad these names are :D

Unless you are in Belize and you are an end user of course. But don't count on easy sales.

I would only invest in .biz, if you want a category killer defining name, that you want to personally develop out, for a personal blog, or a niche marketplace. For obvious reasons the top 3 extensions in this word would be in the 6-7 figures, and if you can get it for less than $500, it can be marketed, you can do well for yourself. For resale purposes stick to top 3 extensions.

Belize as a country is unknown to many people and .bz as a sub for the .biz extension I don't see any future, since the real thing (.biz) is a total failure. Don't waste your money, I agree w/all comments. And even a megadomain looks weird in the .bz extension, I owned some superb names in lousy extensions, including biz, not a single offer, ever. Stick to com, net and org and some proven ccTLDs

A movie about John McAfee's saga there is being talked about, the story is interesting, but as for Belize becoming hot or better known in the future due to that or any other reason, that's hard. They have one touristic destination which is where McAfee had his home, San Pedro (La Isla Bonita). Other than those beaches it's not developed. Even Madonna had a hit in 1987 w/a song called 'La Isla Bonita' and it was about that place in Belize. And you're not even looking at .bz as a ccTLD in any case
