Yeh, I did basicaly get beat down with this one. Which is good in a way for my learnign expiriance...

Ahhh, you saw the light :beer_yum:

Don't worry, we have ALL registered horrible names during our careers, the key is to learn from it and move on and hopefully you will do that.

We were harsh, but also honest - and in this situation our honesty is more valuable than trying to make you feel good.

Oh your wron gthis isnt just some random tv show. How old are you? Flying Nun was popular in the 70's Any person in there 50's would enjoy this name and know what im talking about.

Because of that reply, thats why certain people replied in a certain way.

But at the end... we're just trying to help

I bought a lot of dumb domain names too. It's soo hard to find a good one anymore unless someone buys a domain and then later on doesn't get on anymore and lets the name expire.

Well, you've got 23 replies on a bad domain name. You should feel lucky. I aksed yesterday for discussion on Blu-ray players (an upcoming technology which is supposed to replace DVD's) and can't get a single response!

Hmmm. Are you asking for somoen to give you some attention too.

If somoen would like this domain i will give it to you for 1500 F$

I thought i was going back but i acidentaly made my glow text pink. I wanted it blue.

I don't think you have TM issue.

Or..... Really?

Yes. I also think this site is worth the site cash to me Because its basically famouse. And just from this thread if i would have opend it up and shit. MY revenue would be close to five bucks lol.

could have been worse - you could have bought the .net and org as well

Yeh well i figured those would be dumb. Its not a network its not an organization its a TV show for god sakes. So it wasnt that horible of a mistake.

TalkSex.tv is still available. Like Talk Sex with Sue Johanson.

You realize .tv actually means Tuvalu (a small Island nation in the pacific) rather than television?

Thats a false statement.

I almost beleaved you just because of your flashy exclusiveness =0

FYI... do your research Matvey.

Due diligence will help you in this industry, not relying on others to do it for you.

.TV is from/for Tuvalu.

Presume you mean GT's statement on .TV
You might owe GT an apology
See www.domaincodes.com

Not to get off topic, but WOW!

One long thread over a $0 domain,

But keeping me amused and yes .tv does not mean television

LOL!

This calls for llamas: :llama: :llama: :llama:

To be fair, .tv has been marketed to mean "television" and some U.S. TV shows even use it that way. Tuvalu hopes to make a lot of money this way. All 2 letter domains are really "country code" domains (even though the EU isn't technically a country). Tuvalu markets toward TV shows and Moldova markets to doctors (.md).

Yes, it actually means the country.

.us means United States
.ca means Canada
.cn means China
.tv means Tuvalu

As some of the other members said, please do some research before you embarass yourself. I am by no means a prolific domainer, but I have been around quite a while and posted a lot of messages (probably too many...)

Just take it as a learning experience.

:brick:

Yeh. Lol i got the .US one and .CA

Hmmm. Im not really embarassed.

Last time i was embarassed fr a .tv that i registered was Sienfeld.TV which would have TM issues even if it was spelled corectly.

This thread should have given TheFlyingNun.tv atleast 150 uniques in three days lol.

I would trade this to an admin just to have my username color changed for god sake.
