Hello.
could you appraise my latest acquisition?
what do you guys think it is worth?

Thanks.

Value now is low $xxx undeveloped.

The problem I see with developing is that you might encounter issues with kids being open to so many people, some adults some kids, some dangerous some not. That's probably why most forums require members to be at least 13 to join. There's the concern of privacy and safety.

I was looking to snap that one, but decided not to after thinking about it for a bit.

Nice domain! I would say its worth $100+ reseller. I would also rec. you go ahead and register ChildrenForums.com, goodluck.

and StillInFetusStageForums.com

A good name. If you are going to develop it, prepare yourself for a lot of hard work. Managing a kids site is one of the last things I'd want to do. Like edder said, there are a lot of laws to be careful about, and you'll want to check on liability. You might have better luck selling that to a company that already runs forums for kids, like AOL. I've never heard of AOL buying domains though. It's a good name nonetheless. Caught my attention first of any of the other names up at the top of the appraisal list right now. :-)

Kids haven't got credit cards. Low $xx imho.

Thank you all for the feedback, its much appreciated.
Yes, I know running a kid forum isnt too easy. But with strict language control and the like, it should be at least manageable.

although kids don't have credit cards, they sure can click :-)
and there are a lot of targetted keywords for kids on adsense.
