I use proredirect, because my registrar does not offer frame redirect.

Is there any problem with it?

Thanks,

I can say for a certain after comparing some statistics for yesterday that DS is having some serious issues with reporting.

The statistics do not update at random times. The statistics include uniques, and ofcourse effecting revenue as well since the clicks do not get accounted for. I have emailed DS twice now and have yet to recieve a response.

I am now testing Fabulous. Can someone share their experience with Fabulous? Thanks

Hey guys. Michael from DomainSponsor here. Sorry about the late post, but let me do what I can to respond and shed some light here. If I leave any concerns or questions out, let me know. I'm trying to respond to a few days worth of posts here. ;)

First off, I apologize for the delays in stats updating. This problem is being worked on around to clock at the moment, and should be fixed once and for all. Although stats have been slow or inaccurate in updating, revenue numbers should be accurate. Right now, I'm told it is just the visitor counts that are not updating correctly.

If, however, we find that there is any lost revenue due to system bugs, we will be more than happy to credit accounts, as we have always done in the past. We are looking at data currently to see if this is the case.

About the new landers. Our intentions were never to decrease revenues. We are always looking for ways to increase revenues for our publishers. And why wouldn't we, as it is in both our interests to do so. We have barely a week's worth of data since the new landers, which we are looking at to see how it's working.

I admit it's probably not a perfect solution for everyone, and initial reactions have been mixed so far. We will take a look across the network as well as individual accounts, and come up with the best solution possible. We can't make everyone happy, but we'll do what we can to make as many people happy as possible.

My advice is to stay away from fabulous as they have issues as well.

But I may be wrong I guess.

Thanks,

Michael,

Believe me, your revenue numbers are very much off also.

I am actually not much worried about visitors as I am with decreasing revenue big time.

My account daily gets extremely small revenue after 6 PM EST. It has been like this for past 5 or 6 days now. Revenue before 6 PM EST is almost same as before you made change. Again after 6 PM EST, I see almost 50 to 80% drop in revenue as compared to before DS made this change.

It really puts me in a bad shape.

Something is wrong seriously.

Thanks,

I completely disagree. Revenue numbers do not look off to me. I agree theyre have been some temporary stat update outages, but to claim revenue is wrong, I think is pushing the envelope.

DS is still paying 50% to 100% more than anyone else. I am going to go thru these trial periods and then watch my revenue take another big jump because DS works with its partners.

Guys, I think we may finally have a solution to the decrease in revenue some of you have been seeing. Doesn't look to be related to the new landing pages. Something on the backend. Things should improve shortly.

Stay tuned, and thanks for hanging in there with us, guys. :)

Seems some pubs have taken a hit while others have seen increases. We may have a solution shortly that will make everyone happy. :)

Will def keep you guys posted as I get the info. Like a newsflash. ;)

The stats updating issue is another issue altogether, by the way, which should be fixed once and for all shortly.

I think the biggest concern here is the decrease in revenue that some have experienced, correct? Please bear with us for a little while we complete some testing that should increase revenues over the next few days.

Thanks again.

i am just worried about stats. Revenue I am sure you guys will work more towards it as it will increase for both DS and the publishers!

Also, I think it would be nice to have an option as for landing pages. An option so publishers can choose which domain should have what kind of page. (for example, some of my domains were doing better with direct links on first page and some of the domains are doing well with links to category on the main page)

We recognize this fact and this is something we are working on (along with a host of other initiatives). Before you make that assumption about the old layout and the new one, wait a couple days to see if this is still the case. It's possible there may have been some bugs that occurred concurrently with the introduction of the new layout that may make it seem like the old layout performed better on certain domains.

We understand stats are important as well, but most publishers' main concern is revenues. So i just wanted to reassure everyone about that first. We are most definitely working on fixing the stats bug as well.

Well stats do update kinda weird with DS... but hasn't that always been the way?

Anyway..... my revenue for yesterday was very good, things don't seem so bad after all! :)

I agree, my revenue has either been the same as usual for some domains or improving for some others, and as a whole seems to be doing better.
As I also gauge performance by %CTR, I am quite happy as this has gone up by about 4% which is most likely the reason for the increase in revenue.
Whilst I still think that the landing pages are too plain and generic, it does seem to work and I find this evident on my domains that were previously parked elsewhere with beautiful landing pages but had low CTR. Sometimes simplicity is beauty.

As for the stats, well I only check them 3 times a day anyway, when i get up in the morning, during my lunch break and before i go to bed so the updates don't really bother me too much.

The bottom line is as long as DS continues with its efforts to improve then I will stick out with them.

I wonder if difference in payouts has to do with domains which were already optimized doing well, and names that werent like mine doing poorly

After the low Sunday, things have been back to normal or better. I think it was just a hiccup and I'm not concerned. Michael, Heather and the rest of the crew at DomainSponsor have my thanks for great customer service.
