Good question :-D

I scan ALL the permutations, from 00000.com to 99999.com
The same goes for all of my availability lists - they are all generated from "scratch" each time the list is updated.

I should have an FAQ!

The "good" letters list excludes: h, j, q, u, v, w, x, y, z from the alphabet.

There are 2,159 "good letter" Four-letter .com domains still available for registration out of the 456,976 possible LLLL combinations.

The list takes several hours to generate on a fast Unix server by yours truly.

Remember: there are NO Three-Letter .com domains available in the wild anymore, so Four-Letter .com domains are the next best thing.
