Day one was confusing as per the norm in the domain industry, food dot la for over $10k and no bites on 3 LLL dot com's and great single word dot net's like third and tort? I'll never get some of those things.

I noticed too many reserves were too high. I was about 75% accurate with the ones that would get no bids.

Tonight - no fee to bid on auctions (I got an email from Snapnames), maybe I'll jump in on a few that I'll get outbid on.

I had 7th.com and cobwebs.com in the auction and both sold.

Have 5 in tonight's auction.

Incase they don't note it at the auction or in the notes, DrZ.com is, amongst other things, "Doctor Z" ... a very popular name for doc's ;-) as well as the chairman of Daimler (the car co that makes Mercedes, etc).

Didn't seem to be a lot of bidders...my online client showed only 195 bidders online when I was logged in about 1/2 way through. Anyone care to compare to other auction venues? Was this a bust?

Total sales from the 2 days totalled approx. $3.2 million, however only 48 of the domains sold today out of about 220. I was surprised at some not getting bids but have since been told that for some considerable time the online bidding system was down.

Now we will have to wait for the results of the extended auction to be able to place this auction in its place compared to other recent auctions.

Personally I did find the reseres of many to be way to ambitious.
