Remember, Lottery.org sold for $60,000 earlier this year.

It makes life more interesting for domainers :-D

A good pointer as to how high it will go, judging from the transaction of lottery.org

Yeah, it was clubdrop. I had top bid prior to the drop but I doubt I'll have it after the auction ends :(

I was in on that one but I jumped out... Too high for my blood, plus I'm not a big fan of .net I would rather have the .org

correct me if I am wrong but the .org was an end-user sale correct? That should have NO bearing on this name imo, this .net is the foster child of the three...but still I am SURE one of the big lotteries or the like would LOVE to have this domain...and obviously is must get some traffic, whether or not that traffic is meaningful is another story... "I want to check my numbers" lol....would'nt it be funny if some kid out there with a domain catching script/program and a really fast connection ever grabbed one of these..I am sure it happens..it must... Right?

Unless that kid is a registrar, the answer is no, it does not happen.

I was going to say no also, too many eyes on too much money. It would be nice, if they offered some sort of lottery system for these domains. That is that anyone could win them by simply having the right number and paying a fee or something to that affect. I would like to see a different system in the future. It would be nice to see what some people with less money could do with some of this traffic. Cheers,

I completely agree! They should do that with real estate, too! When someone gets foreclosed, instead of auctioning off the property, they should make it a lottery so I can get it cheap.

Heck, let's do it with all commodities! To hell with the free market, let's make everything a lottery!

Um... no. I don't think so.

Well, Lottery.net is presently at a bid price of $ 12,200 with 2.5 days to go.

There are 120 bidders.

Chris, I would prefer that you award the domain by a lottery process.
That means that I have 1 in 120 chances of owning it.

As for the amount that Enom might receive from the sale,
give it to one of us - No charge.

Log it in the financial ledger as - charity.

:-D
