Yo, Rockey - just to clarify for your sake only, and clear up the steam in the thread - I have no problem agreeing with $xx and would not say the name literally has no value at all. But as far as I'm concerned, holding onto a name that just maybe might get bought for $xx, with an outside shot at a whopping low $xxx, is practically speaking worthless and just not worth the trouble or expense of renewing and managing. A lawyer friend of mine once said domains were expensive lottery tickets, and while he was certainly wrong in that for a great many of them, he was very right for a great many of them, too, and that is also the mindset behind how many of them are bought. So, if you're going to be holding onto one or hundreds of names at around $7.50/yr., at least let it have the potential of being worth thousands, tens or even hundreds of thousands, and not $xx - $xxx.
