Hello guys and gals. I am new to the forum and would like to thank everyone up front before they give me their honest opinion on this domain. Anyone who can give me an honest appraisal on this out there?

Any traffic?

Well, I have it pointing to another domain and when I went and checked the traffic using webalizer stats, I didnt see any referrals from this domain. So, I couldnt really tell ya. I just starting pointing it there last month since the idiots I was advertising for (OnlineSmoker) decided to go out of business without paying its affiliates.

So I guess the appraisal would be just for the name itself.

Nice typo. By the way, you're the "Sterlins" from the old New.net forum, right?

Unfortuantly, lol.

And yes, I still have alot of their names. And believe it or not, one of my best performing domains is one of theirs.

It's a nice typo indeed, but every typo is a possible trademark
problem. So I'm not sure about your domain's value - it depends
on its traffic and on Marlboro's legal department.

There's a city in MD called Marlbaro, so it depends on how it's used to determine if it violates any TM's...

Only 207 results in Google. No searches in Overture. Therefore, a very uncommon typo.

I get 811 in google for "Marlburo" and 3 in wordtracker. There is nothing here as far as typein is concerned. As for branding this I would say forget it. At most reg fee to the TM holder.

It's worth nothing because (a) it gets no traffic and (b) it's not worth the effort of putting up a site in case the cig firm gets on your back. It that respect it's useless to any owner.
