Ok, I've been approached by a buyer about this name. I am considering selling it and I would appreciate your feedback as to the value of this domain Marlins.org.
Personally I think Marlins.org is a great domain for a Marlin and other kinds of sport fishing related websites.
It could include fishing companies, marlin charters, manufacturers and distributors, organizations, news and information portals, non-profit organizations, Internet commerce, publications, and many other things, not to mention the marlins baseball team.

I disagree with my learned Canuck above. IMHO the domain may be worth upwards of $1,000, particularly now with all the hype surrounding the amazing team rings. (which, by the way were made by my buddy in Calgary).

i think Marlins.org is worth at least 1k to a enduser,
nice short easy name,
this name could be devloped into a baseball site, and its value would then be alot more,,

Wouldn't it become a trademark issue if the domain was used for a site about the team?. I don't think its worth more than $250, but I doubt I would sell it for less than 1k
