I am in the pool on this one, but the bid is already to $601. No thanks. Pricing on the auction sites (NW & Pool) is making these companies a lot of $. And people dislike the idea of paying $24 to NSI for WLS? Yeh, I much rather pay $2000 to Namewinner than to pay $24 to NSI.

Only if WLS is held back by stupid US Congressman and/or misguided domain owners who have not thought this through all the way.

If your point is that BD & Ult will buy up every WLS subscription, then you fail to realize that even BD & Ult will not buy a WLS on every domain. They will not even buy one on every domain that is in the top 1% of all domains. They, like me, will have to consider if & when a name is likely to drop and how much they want the name. Only fools will be buying WLS on names that are 2 years or more out. Maybe someone will pay for WLS on sex.com even if it is 5 yrs from expiration, just so that they can brag and vmasturbate, but I don't think that BD & ULt are that stupid.
