Hi guys,

I'd like to know about Moniker service. How good/bad they are?

I tried to transfer my domain out of Mokiner twice unsuccessfully. First, I used OnlineNic and after confirmation, I waited couple more days and it's failed. I checked the domain and it wasn't locked.

I tried again using enom with the same problem. I've actually plan 2 weeks ahead to transfer the domain before the expiration date. However, it expires today and I still couldn't get the name out of Moniker. They charge $19/year for .COM renewal.

Seems like they're not really a good registrar. Anyone here using Moniker? I have only one name with them and I got it from buying domain from someone here.

Actually, I wouldn't say to use any register other than moniker.

Excellent service.

Great Security.

Never wanted to transfer out so I can't dsucss any issues with that.

But email monte at moniker.com and I can assure you he'll help you out.

But I don't know why anyone would ever transfer away from moniker..

I will ONLY keep names there.

Hello .biz,

I can certainly ensure that any problem you are having is addressed. In the mean time, if you are transferring away due to price, I can provide you with special pricing as I have for many from this Forum. Just email me at [email protected].

Thanks,

Monte

$19 is more than twice what you should be paying..

If you want to buy and sell domains and transfer without hassles I'd go elsewhere..if you have $100,000 domain you dont wont stolen I'd park it at Moniker.

Frankly, there are some cheaper registrars out there but to me its worth any extra to call a registrar and have a human answer the phone and solve your problem or answer your question instantly. This is what sets Moniker apart...plus for me they are in Florida where I live and as we all know its best to use a registrar where you live in case of any domain litigation.

Anyway, leave your name there...

As I said folks, $18.99 is our retail price not our volume or "friendly" price.

Just email me and I will take care of you - and yes you get the great discount pricing along with the best security and service in the industry - I guarantee it!
