I think it is worth nothing, and here is why.

What does it mean? I happen to be in the movie business (have been since 1988) and I have never heard the term once. Well, I take that back... I have heard "movie wrap" before (as in "that's a wrap"), and moviewrap.com might have some small value for those who would have interest in the technical process of producing films. But movierap is meaningless. I suppose you could try to create a term, describing soundtracks of urban films, but then you are blazing new ground which means the burden is entirely on you to create the value around this term, (i.e. as Google had to do). That is very expensive and time consuming.

There is also a film projection term called "brain wrap" describing a nightmare scenario where the film "jumps the track" so to speak and wraps itself around the projection hardware, but that is so different from this it would not be applicable.

So we are left with a term that has no inherent meaning, similar in uselessness to thousands of other unused and unregistered domains that languish in "parked" limbo.

I hope that adequately explains why there is just no value to be extracted from this domain and many more like it. Of course, there is one possibility that would moot every word I've just written. That is if you take the time and energy to develop a kickass site there that can attract traffic. If you can somehow manage to do that, you should have no trouble making money.

I have said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again.... you are lucky to learn this lesson in the days of under-$10 domain registrations. Your lesson won't be nearly as expensive as mine was and many of the other domainers you'll find here.

I registered my first domain for reselling purpose in January, and before I knew there were other registrars, I had 21 funny names (like best-PCishop.com) at Verisign; then at the second registrar, 22 equally funny names for $12.99 each....

I doubt any member here would pay more than $43 for all these 43 domains (reg fee $1k+) :dead: So it's always amusing for me to find a "reg fee" appraisal from Dr. Who, he would be very surprised that sometimes it means $35. :laugh:

Well if you look up rap in the dictionary. It means discussion or talk. You know when somebody says on the news "And here is dave to give us the sports rap, or the rap up on sport" Means to summarise. Unless that is the other spelling but i don't think so.

It is the other spelling "wrap" - I used to do the sports wrap on local TV.

I think "rap" at best is slang for talk. But it is not common enough english in any case to be of any inherent value.
