I may get some arguments on this, but I believe that probably is the single best domain and site that anybody who frequents these forums actually owns.

it absolutely not the best domain anyone here owns, I can think of 10's better. That being said, I must add that the domain combined with the traffic it has, makes it a MONSTER, perhaps just inches behind the absolute cream of the domains owned by DNforum-users
I agree with netprowler - this domain ranks pretty high. Anyone check the OVT EXT on it? Like 25,000+? Pretty good name indeed and well branded. I've never seen a name on here with these kind of stats, and getting consistant $500,000 to $1,000,000 appraisals. That's pretty hefty. Since I doubt George paid anywhere near that, I'm sure he is very happy.
I also agree that it is a 7 figure domain.
++++++++++++++++
It is a very good domain, but I don't know if it is THAT good. Only a small number of domains ever trade hands in the seven figure range.
Its traffic is obviously HUGE, but how to monetize it? Alot of the traffic is probably kids, and they don't make good paying customers, and they present a whole host of legal problems.
George will need some creativity to maximize value --but it has gigantic potential.
I think he was suggesting it was a typo of "match.com". Would be nice if it was, since dating traffic is $2+ per click, vs 50 cents or so for math traffic. But, if you do a comparison of the Alexa graphs of math.com and various other math sites, you'll see that they're very highly correlated, and thus unlikely to be looking for match.com.
Now that students are back to school, traffic has zoomed higher. 50,000+ uniques each of the past 2 days, and ALMOST 400,000 pageviews yesterday. Looks like I'll push out 300 GB of traffic this month -- thankfully my hosting plan gives me up to 2 Terabytes. arty:
I intend to acquire some additional content, and hope to one day break 100,000 uniques and 1 million daily pageviews.
