With 40K typeins/month and the targeted demographic you're attracting with that name I would say $50K. Afterall Newscorp paid a ton for the site you're getting those typeins from.

Why do you have the site with nothing on it? You should park it or put some advertising on it if you are receiving that many type-ins per month.

well I would honestly find it hard to believe that its getting "40,000 type-ins per month"...I dont see how it could be a good typo of myspace...and if it is then the
40k hits are'nt likely to get more than maybe a 1%-2% CTR max on any related ads as most typo traffic doesnt respond well to links since they did not mean to go there in the first place..can you give us more background on the domain so I can give a detailed valuation? As it sits now..if it is a typo of the above noted site and it does get 40k type-ins per month "naturally" then it is worth about 3-5k

Anyways....

There is a MyFace.com.au or RateMyFace.com which is likely causing the type-in traffic. This isn't a typo so the traffic will likely get a high % of CTR. I would appraise it $25,000+

Thanks for the respond, i could sell it right now for 20k but i think thats to low, i did have it on sedo for a week and it was making 25.00 a day, right now iam getting a website made for a photo rating site and also i have MyFaceAdult.com that will also be one to, some people are close on giving me a appraisals and they have been well off and some are close i had Record.com and sold it for 6 figures and alot said 5 to 10k kind of funny, bernie

20k is too low. Don't sell for less than 30k (3 years rev).

According to $25 a day $25k would be good. Although, your name has potential and I have no doubt you could optimize your PPC with another program besides Sedo and up your daily earnings 100%. This would double the names value. I'd shop around with other PPC programs and see what others have to offer. You can also try SedoPro if you prefer to stick with Sedo.

Well when i get the website up i think it will build up traffic and i will place google ads and whatever else i could put up and also place MyFaceAdult.com link to build that up with the same traffic

alexa rank is not just traffic...it has to do also with the sites you are linked with and traffic trends over time...but in some way yes it can be very inaccurate, just like overture.

Most of the traffic comes probably from typo of ratemyface.com, it is picture rating traffic and this traffic makes very low profit. RPM$4-5 max. So based on this criteria, I would appraise it $10K.
BUT - it is intuitive, nice name, good i.e. for cheap cosmetic brand, than the value could be even low xxx,xxx. You should register myface.com as TM and wait, the right buyer WILL come and offer at least $50K.
