NameStore.Com/Net - both domains - Over 1.8 Million references on Google, alone. We are starting a branding and marketing program in the near future. Prior to that we would like to get your thoughts on these two high profile domains. New Trademarks Filed recently. Site design and development started. Projected launch date 4/1/03. Any thoughts on a value would be appreciated as we have had many offers in the past 30 days. Thanks Steve.

Personally, I think this name could be worth way much more than $2,000 with all those branding, marketing, trademarking, developing. I'd say there shouldn't be any problem grabbing up to $1 MILLION ... but only after pouring in say $999,999.

Very excellent and memorable name for huge growth industry of domain name sales and associated services. A quick TM check looks good, so brandable name. 5,800,000 hits on Google, and 70,600 are direct hits with Name Store in the title of the website. DomainSurfer.com shows that 54 domains have Name Store in it, and that doesn't include country domain extentions. Verisign themselves have a http://www.verisign-grs.com/namestore/ site. I have NameNews.com and NameCoop.com, which I think are valuable, but it looks like you have an extremely valuable name here.

Considering that Verisign is opening the Verisign name store, so they say, I would say you tend to benefit from that. TM ing now was probably a good idea as I don't trust Verisign/netsol. I would say undeveloped, $2500. But remeber we are wholesalers , kinda of like yourself. If your like everybody else around here, which you are , from my previous conversations with you, my guess is the name is worth much more to you than any of us are willing to pay for it, and worth much more to you than you would be willing to pay for it, from one of us. It's the nature of the beast.

I don't want to rain on your parade Steve but, IMHO TheNameStore.com would be better than just NameStore.com, just like 'The Money Store' is better than just 'Money Store', 'the liquor store' is better than just 'liquor store' and 'The TV store' is better than just 'TV store'. I think it is more intuitive and reflects how people speak if the 'the' precedes most 'store' names.
