I agree! That was my first thought anyway. Its not all about the money.. This domain costed me only like $9 so compared to the fact that it could get into wrong hands its really nothing. And as TimeChange said, some kind of informational site about rise and fall of the nazism could be a positive use of the name. Thanks for comments guys

i'm quite dissapointed with some of the replies in this thread. The Second World War was an absolutely barbaric affair and im sure that any reasonably minded person would identify the fascist/nazism ideology as nothing short of detestable.

Im sure those who have written about fascism, hitler, mussolini etc do not in anyway condone their behaviour, they just saw fit to pass their interpretation of events on to future generations

In no way does registering this name condone or promote nazism, i think it is fundamentally wrong to accuse or imply that. It is not a "piece of s**t" name, the ideology itself is what is disgusting, the name actually has some value. The domain could be used to illustrate all of the damage that nazism has caused on the world.

I can understand why this is an emotional topic, i myself have family members who have been through the war, i can also understand why this name shoud definetley NOT fall into the wrong hands. In fact i urge you to be very careful about what you do with this name.

My point is please appraise the domain for its relevance to a topic and its popularity in the marketplace, rather than making crude judgements and going into automatic response mode.

Sorry, but all of these orgs. have significant, needless death behind their "MORAL VALUES", and I agree there have been many needless deaths behind this idealism, but basing it upon you conclusion is bulls*it.

hmm I think what Sarcle probably meant was that people have been killed in the name of religion, including christianity. The bible does indeed say that taking someone elses life is a sin, but mankind has managed to twist this to mean "Unless its in the name of God" on more than one ocassion. Quazi religious wars will never disappear as long as powerful men can use them as an excuse to justify their actions to the masses who dont have access to the information they do, until its too late.
Sure enough the Nazi movement was and is truly evil, but in my opinion its better to remember to prevent rather than forget so in my opinion this domain name could be used as a truly valuable resource "Lest We Forget". As to a value...I dont think this domain has any true commercial value and phrases like "Nazism" & "Nazi" or even phrases like "Genocide" or "Weapons of mass destruction" should only be used with the .org TLD.....thank god I have freedom of choice and freedom of opinion.
