I had a look at recent sales for names starting with "new":

NewBeginning.org $1,000
NewArtiste.com $500
NewCars.org $2,000
NewBoots.com $2,373
NewPeople.com $3,000

So, I'd value the name "newmag.com" in the $2-4,000 range

Your name scores just above NewArtiste.com
NewCars, NewPeople and NewBoots really score higher than your name.
And I will add that the sale of NewCars.org for 2K was a TRUE bargain, it does not reflect his true value today.
