Your appraisal is not unrealistic. Its a fantastic package, and if he markets the names right, and finds an end user that would be best fit with the names, low xx,xxx or even mid xx,xxx would not be unreasonable.

I can't see anyone wanting the whole package as each name is a developable name unto itself. Example... A portfolio of picasso signed prints is worth less than selling the prints individually. If you offered such a portfolio of 10 prints to me for $10,000 , i'd decline as I can't afford it. If you offered me just one of those prints for $1,500, i just might buy it even though the portfolio is a better Deal.

I am a newbie here, it's good to learn that most of these appraisals are in thee eye of the beholder. I guess I should wait for more to try to figure what they may be worth.

Looking at comp's I can't see getting any less than $800/name. That puts a $5k floor on the package. On the other hand, I can see NYCForum.com or NewYorkForum.com selling for $4k-5k each. The plurals could then add another $2k each. Plus you have NYForum (w/plural) that I would handle as a redirect to NewYorkForum; add another $2-4k on these. So I would say ~$15k-20k on the package.
