What's up with NSI changing the creation dates on Domains?
I have noticed Domains registered way back showing
much more recent creation dates.

Has anyone else noticed this and why are they doing it?

Seems to be only on SnapNames "updates." No mention yet from any of the other services!

Domain owners are required to keep accurate WHOIS info, but I guess domain registrars aren't?

Netsol should be required to fix the incorrect data just like a domain owner has to keep his or her data correct.

I agree. .COM value is appreciated by the fact that it was first registered a long time ago. I suspect if the name drops and is deleted, Verisign treats it like it never existed and the clock starts all over again. Just a plausible guess.
