I think it's a reasonable price for a domain with some development potential.
With hard work it could be worth much more than you paid. Without any work, it will be a struggle to get your money back.

Just 9,9k

:-)

Not bad, not bad at all. Any end user with any type of know how can setup a site and make that back in no time, so no, I don't think you overpaid.

The gear's expensive and an addicting sport and a huge industry.

Marker
pb mask
pb hopper
pb pants
shirt
gloves
accessories
upgrades

All that stuff can get real expensive.

Well.. If you consider that paintball is big, it's huge and it's a sport/hobby which requires a lot of accessories, guns and replacements continuously... Therefore you need shops .. What better name for a paintballshop than paintballshop.com ? Whether it's an international shop shipping all over the world or just a local shop in any country, this is _the_ best domain for paintball related merchandise. On the other hand, I don't think you will receive multiple $10k++ offers on this one overnight, I think this is one of those domains you will have to park and wait for the end-user. Good luck with it!

saveten should get you 10% off, but you have to put it in when you pay.
gdbb776 will save you a couple bucks on a lower purchase as well. Plus works for renewals.

As for the price, I think you overpaid. It did show it was getting some traffic i think, but I would of looked for a better SEO domain that was already ranked up in the top 5-9 spots on google. You can use www.RankingCheck.com to see how your site/domain ranks for certain keywords.

Here are some ranks that I checked.
