So you are saying couple of CVCV.com like wule.com or yifi.com will be same price as PaintballShop.com is?
No I didn't say that. The price of a domain, is what somebody is willing to pay for it. I have seen several CVCV.com's sell in the $5-$10K range each and even more, but with good SEO, any keyword domain would be good and brandable ones work too. Look at the domains below. Some make sense, some people would not pay reg fee for, but with seo ranking, these following domains are priceless, or close to it.

Top ranking domains in google for Keywords Paintball Shop are:
Shop4Paintball.com
xtremez.com
ThePaintballShop.net
Pntball.com
Pevs.com
MosPaintball.com
DirectPaintball.com

Top ranking domains in google for Keywords Paintball Store are:
Xtremez.com
SakWorldPaintball.com
Shop4Paintball.com
xPaintball.com
Pntball.com
888Paintball.com

Top ranking domains in google for Keywords Paintball are:
Paintball.com
Paintball.org
Wikipedia
ArmorGames.com
WarPig.com
MiniClip.com
xPaintball.com
Xtremez.com
Pntball.com

Yofie, I know what you mean when you talk about CVCV. I have a premium CVVC.com myself with all same premium letters.

As for the shops you mentioned here. You see they are mostly all actual shops. :-)

Search engine ranking is not a definite, and to me, does not add any value to a name. One day, you can be number one for a popular phrase, and the next, *bam* gone.

SE Rank is HUGE! Yes the rank can change daily, but that just keeps you on your toes, to keep adding relavent content to your site, which will help you at the top!

Ask NameTrader if SE rank is important. He has a domain that is ranked 2nd for a term and he makes over $100+ per Day in PPC with one little domain. I do not think the domain has any links and gets all of it's traffic from SE's. So if he lost his rank, he would lose his $100+ a day in PPC rev as well.

For your line "Search engine ranking is not a definite, and to me, does not add any value to a name." if a domain does not gain value from SE Rank, I will stop domaining TODAY! People spend Huge money daily to google, yahoo etc for ads to be at the Top of SE rankings.......

Being at the top of SE's = TRAFFIC, which makes your domain $$$$$.

I agree with valeria and you can also get it branded so easily.
Focus on developing this and doing some basic seo and then see results.

I think you overpaid for a reseller price, but its a good price for an end user, which is why you should either actually open a shop (and not just make some paintball portal)..or partner with someone that wants to open one, but hoping you are going to make a lot of money just on the name I think its not going to work IMO

I'm in the paintball market. It's a nice domain name but I wouldn't have paid that much for it. Maybe because I don't have that kind of money? :)

I own PbStore.com and I think that (at least to me) it's a better domain that PaintballShop.com. Correct me if I'm wrong, but most people say Store instead of Shop. Either way, nice grab. Build it. Contact me if you need some advertising :)
